From 23 April 2007 the Minister for Commerce, Eric Roozendaal, will take over responsibility for NSWbusinesslink (the Department) from the Minister for Community Services.

NSW Businesslink staff will remain public servants and become employees of the Department of Commerce.

NSW Businesslink Pty Ltd will continue to provide its services to the Department of Community Services, the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care and the Department of Housing.

The Department of Commerce is responsible for shared services policy across the whole of government and has a well established working relationship with NSW Businesslink Pty Ltd.
